Osteopathy

2025_edited.jpg

At Functn Health Group, our osteopaths take the time to look at the bigger picture — not just where it hurts, but why it’s happening in the first place.

Osteopathy is a hands-on form of healthcare that focuses on how the body moves and functions as a whole. It’s all about understanding how different parts of your body are connected, and how pain or tightness in one area might be affecting everything else.

We start by listening to your story and doing a thorough assessment to get to the root of the issue. Then we use a mix of manual therapy techniques to help reduce pain, release tension, and get you moving better.

You might Experience:

  • Joint movement techniques to restore mobility

  • Massage and soft tissue release to ease tightness

  • Gentle muscle techniques to rebalance your body

  • Adjustments (if appropriate) to improve overall function

  • Exercise rehabilitation to support strength, stability, and long-term progress — including setting goals that align with what matters most to you

Our osteopaths don’t just treat symptoms — we take the time to listen, look at the bigger picture, and help you make sense of what your body is telling you. Whether it’s something in your daily routine, posture, training habits, or lifestyle, we’ll help you identify what might be contributing to your pain — and work with you to make lasting change.

We know that real, long-term progress doesn’t end in the treatment room. That’s why many of our osteos have gone on to complete further training in Clinical Pilates and Exercise Rehabilitation — so they can support you beyond the table, into the studio or gym, and back into the things you love doing pain-free.

We commonly help with:

  • Neck and back pain

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Postural strain and workplace aches

  • Shoulder injuries and tension

  • Sciatica and disc issues

  • Arthritis and joint pain

  • Tendon or bursa-related injuries

  • Sports injuries of all kinds

  • Plantar fasciitis and foot pain

  • Pregnancy-related discomfort

Whether you’re dealing with a new injury, ongoing pain, or unsure why you are in pain — osteopathy can help get you back to feeling like yourself again.
